my son will be 2 in may and he wont eat properl...

my son will be 2 in may and he wont eat properly. He doesn't like eating food that he has to chew.. he either wants custard or yoghurt,anything thats puree'd. He'll chew meat off a bone and eat it but wont eat it if i cut it up in peices for him...Any lumpy foods he's given he gags on it.I dont know what to do it gets really frustrating because there's only a few things he'll eat. Please if anyone has any suggestions please let me know
